The Athena 9.3.8 patch release is scheduled to go to field tomorrow
evening (Tuesday, the 6th), for machines in the early cluster.
Changes include:
On both platforms:
* Mozilla is upgraded to 1.7
* New mail utilities mitmailcreate, mitmailmove, and mitmailrename
* zwgc will rewrite its wgfile on a SIGUSR1
* xscreensaver has a new feature to renew tickets on unlock
* The xlogin IS&T logo is a bit smaller
* The console login program can handle long passwords
On Linux:
* Public workstation verification is about five times faster
On Solaris:
* The cpuspeed athinfo query is faster
If you have a machine set AUTOUPDATE=false, you can update it manually
after the release goes out by doing a console login as root and
running "update_ws".
