Hi!
Sorry these are so late. I hope no one was holding their breath
waiting for them, though; they're not all that exciting.

In attendance: Dot, Mark, Kevin, Gary, Carla
PPT meeting report (Dot):
- relatively few comments
- they agreed to extend the deadline by two week to 7/15; the new
schedule looks like:
Bruce's wedding 4/9
Kevin's birthday 4/24
Code cut 4/29
Staff test ~5/26 - 6/16
Mark's closing, moving, wedding 5/31 - 6/11
Field test 6/17 - 7/7
Field release 7/11 - ?
- they'd like to see a categorized list of bug fixes
- the stuff in the mkserv locker has to be tied to a release (e.g., if
running 7.6 you'd get 7.6 mkserv stuff)
- wanted more info about the syslogd fix; it's a conditional no for
now
AIX3.2.5:
- would need a complete re-install; could make it happen automatically
in public clusters
- 3.2.5 doesn't have to happen at the same time as the big 7.7
release; it could be later in the summer. Clients will be built with
3.2.1
- could go with 3.2.5 for public machines and new machines, and update
private machines upon request. Those will need to be re-privatized
Other stuff:
- the OLC server stuff is now back to being a release issue. Mark
calls it "the first absorption"
- expunge is not a release issue; Kim and Craig will discuss it
- support for freshmen housing lottery is not a release issue
Zephyr:
- changing the hashing scheme may be an incompatible change, so we may
not do it just yet. There is a summer project to rewrite parts of
zephyr.
Next steps:
- sit back and let developers do their thing
- in about a week [like today, if it hasn't happened already, sorry
Dot], check on status of unassigned projects
- on about 4/1, check on status of projects
- meet again 4/8 11- 12 in the small conference room
- we may need to come up with a testing plan
