I've updated the Sun compiler suite (C, C++, FORTRAN 77/90/95) and dbx
debugger on Athena to the Sun ONE Studio 8 release. To use them now:
add -f sunsoft_v8
Followed by the usual compiler or make invocation. Running the compilers
with a "-xhelp=readme" switch will print release notes; running them with
"-flags" will print a summary of command-line options. A "What's New" document
is at https://web.mit.edu/sunsoft_v8/whatsnew.pdf, and the main documentation
starting point is https://web.mit.edu/sunsoft_v8/www/index.html.
I expect to make them the default Sun compilers during Summer.
