Sorry for the late notice. I used to give some advanced warning on
these things, but I have forgotten of late.

The patch for 7.7 has been release on all platforms, and the Solaris
install servers have been appropriately updated as well. So life
should be simple for cluster people in 2-032 now.

A note on the disappearing /dev/audio on Sparc 5's (the rest of this
message):

I may have discovered why it was happening, but I'm not sure. I
remedied what was broken, and I also removed the automatic-readd of
the audio device at every reboot. Therefore rebooting is no longer a
solution for a lost audio device.

If the audio devices continue to disappear, I'm interested in bug
reports about them. What I expect to see is that the links going
/dev/audio -> /dev/sound/0 -> /devices/iommu*/sbus*/*4231* are
missing, but the actual device under /devices is still there. It would
be nice to know if the audio device was working when the user logged
in, but disappeared at some point during their login session.

I'll probably also create a little program for people to run to
recreate the missing symlinks if they continue to disappear, until I
find out where they're going. Maybe there are socks there.

Craig
