1. Mozilla 1.6 in 9.2

We will upgrade to Mozilla 1.6 in a 9.2 patch release targeted for
spring break. It should go to the dev cell in a day or two. (It will
also have a small pile of Sun patches and some other small stuff.)

2. Desupporting rkinit in 9.3

With the krb5 1.3.x import, rkinit is no longer trivial to maintain,
and it hasn't been important for years, so we will desupport it.

3. 9.3 status

We are theoretically in the crash and burn period.

Third-party imports are essentially done.

RHEL contract negotiations continue to drag on.

Bob has run into some updating issues in the Sun package project, the
biggest of which is that pkgadd won't delete old files (or remove them
from the package history) when updating to the new version of a
package. We'll have to figure out the best mechanism for dealing with
that. There's also a question of whether we want to do a miniroot
update; we can probably get away without it.

We might want to look at bringing Open Office onto local disk (see
next item).

4. Standalone Linux

We may be tasked with expanding some standalone Linux offerings,
depending on what form they take. It sounds like IS&T will be
standardizing on Open Office over Star Office, although it will
continue to support both for now.

5. Status

Under separate cover.
