The Athena 9.2.24 patch release is currently scheduled for the evening
of Monday November 10. Changes include:

On both platforms:
  * Mail sent through outgoing will be sent using SMTP authentication.
  * Mail which cannot be sent authentically will use direct delivery.
  * The new mailquota program can be used to check mail quotas.
  * Users will be warned at login time about nearly-full IMAP stores.
  * xlogin will get addressesless tickets when appropriate.
  * reactivate won't run when there are screen processes running.
  * bash has been updated with some bugfixes.
  * Evolution's text/enriched handling is improved a bit.
  * lprng will deal with IP addresses in the control file.
  * zctl add/sub and zinit will not grab default subscriptions.
  * smtptest should work against our mailhubs.
On Linux:
  * The new offlinehome script can be used to create an offline homedir.
  * The cron job to reset the hardware clock is fixed.
  * The cups-lib and coreutils RPMs are updated to keep up with Red Hat.
On Solaris:
  * The smpts service is added to the services file.
  * The SUNWlom packages are installed.

If you have a machine set AUTOUPDATE=false, you can update it manually
after the release goes out by doing a console login as root and
running "update_ws".
