There are actually two packages -- the 60MB one is the full SDK,
while the JRE itself is about 35MB.  I think it is sufficient to
install only the latter; the SDK would still be available in the
java locker.

Yes, that is a little annoying, and inconsistent (the commands
are left in a nonstandard bin directory).

Perhaps more annoying is that the software is installed under a
version-dependent directory, /usr/java/j2re1.4.2_01.  So we will
have to adjust Mozilla's plugin path, one way or another, when
the package is updated.  Also, the path will be different on the
two platforms; the Sun packages are installed under /usr/j2se
(version-independent).

I also noticed that the package includes kinit and klist (those
popular Java tools), but that should only be a problem if
someone puts the JRE bin directory before /usr/athena/bin in
the PATH.
