Emacs19
1. Put it on the packs in parallel with emacs18
a. get copy (from locker or equivalent) brlewis, by 1/5/96
b. modify for /srvd -- brlewis, by 1/5/96
b1. how invoke? emacs19 (probably)
b2. as modify, plan for summer transition--list things you notice/see
b3. list of mods to make it work on /srvd
c. test major chunks (does it run?) mbarker, by 1/12/96
e.g. discuss, mh-*, olc, gnus, rmail, emacsclient
c1. list of changes 18->19 (mbarker, dryfoo) by 1/12/96
c2. list of tests and feedback on results (mbarker) 1/12/96
d. fix problems brlewis, 1/12/96
e. integrate changes, source, etc. rel-eng 1/15/96 (may be done later)
f. propagate to public rel-eng 1/15/96
Step 1 should be complete by the end of IAP. At that time, we'll
review and lay out further details on these other points...

A question we postponed is whether or not this requires a letter bump.
Question was raised as to whether .emacs files could be written with
different parts for different versions. bruce said yes, and will show
gary how to do it.
