Wrong email clients in Linux system menus for the past year?

Someone just called me wondering what we REALLY support for email
clients. Because he customized the panel, he does not get the default
Mail icon that would run evolution.

When he looked at Mail programs under Communications in the panel menus,
he found he could run MH, and NMH, and could get information about Pine,
but that there was no mention of Evolution.

I looked at the info on Pine, and see that it points to the old OLC
stock answer on using SIPB pine.

If my understanding of our roll-out of the new Email client is correct,
then what I think I should have found in that menu card was:

information on mh saying it was depricated.
information on nmh saying it was depricated.
an executable for our carefully integrated pine.
  an executable for evolution.

What happened? Did we not fix the menus? Do I and my caller have the
wrong menus?

For 9.2, we will need to change the mail menus to point out that
Netscape Messenger for reading mail is depricated, and I'd suggest a
revision along the lines above.

I'd also say that for 9.1, we really SHOULD activate in the menus what
we SAY we support.
