MIT license wrapper problems with soffice on Athena 9.2 Linux machines

Hi folks,
Could someone (Garry?) please take a look at this? The wrapped Linux main
Star Office binary doesn't launch properly on our Linux-Athena 9.2 test
machine- the symptom is that nothing happens when you try to launch
Star Office (add soffice_v6.0; soffice). There's no error message, it
just doesn't launch.
1. Same setup works fine on 9.1 machines.
2. I only see problems with Star Office so far, not other wrapped apps.
3. Star Office launches normally if I replace the wrapped binary by the
unwrapped original.
4. I tried installing Star Office 6.1 beta 1 and rewrapping on our
Linux-Athena 9.2 machine- same problem.
I was going to see if a launch attempt causes a log entry to be created but
our only test machine is temporarily down today.
The binary in question is:
/mit/soffice_v6.0/distrib/i386_linux24/program/soffice.bin
soffice.bin.des
The unwrapped original binary is
/mit/soffice_v6.0/Athena/private/i386_linux24/soffice.bin.hide.
This is a high-priority issue with us- Jean and Phil really need the usage
statistics provided by the wrapper logs.
