We cannot "slide in" an XFree86 upgrade, which has not been integrated
by Red Hat into Red Hat Linux 7.2, during a patch release. That's a
recipe for trauma on existing machines. (We cannot use a Red Hat 8.x
RPM on a Red Hat 7.x system.)

What we can look into is shipping an RPM containing nv (probably by
grabbing a binary 4.2.99.3 release and taking just the binary) and any
supporting files it needs, which is hopefully a small set not
overlapping with anything we currently ship. Then we could convince
xwrapper to use it only on the Dell Latitude C840 systems. If special
configuration is needed (that is, if the current Xconfigurator
--kickstart doesn't work), then the installer would also need special
hand-tooling.

I do not have cycles for this work, but I can certainly review it if
Andrew or someone else can.
