Lou dropped by asking whether it is the CD or the floppy that is the
recommended Athena install media. Here is clarification of the Release
Team's thinking:

The CD will boot up faster, but may require fiddling with the BIOS in
order to enable CD booting.

We expect individuals installing Athena on their systems are already
familiar doing software installs, and are used to CD's nowadays.
Either their computer comes pre-configured for CD booting, or they've
already experienced the BIOS issue from booting something else. These
customers demand CD's for the speed, and because it's what they're
already used to.

We expect Hardware Services to be confronted with many different systems
of many different ages, with customers who may or may not care if the
BIOS configuration gets changed. For this reason we expect Hardware
Services will use the floppy because it will always work, and never
require fiddling with the BIOS.
