A couple of notes about this.  

We are really only helped by this if we can get all of the machines or
declare that we're ok with ones we don't get never updating.  As you
pointed out earlier, this may not be realistic.

As someone suggested, it would be good to note the expected immediate
performance benefit.

Also, I think we should explicitly note that a re-install will destroy
any local data or configureation on the machine.
