I don't know why I didn't notice this before, but mozilla.org does not
offer a Sun version of Mozilla 1.0.1. Nor is it available but just not
linked - I went to the ftp site directly and poked around a bit.

This gives us three alternatives with Suns:

1. Just don't upgrade - it stays Mozilla 1.0 until we're ready to go to
1.1.

2. Try to compile the source code and make a new Sun binary ourselves.

3. Take the Suns to Mozilla 1.1 now.

Each has its obvious disadvantages. In view of #3, though, it is worth
noting that mozilla.org has stopped characterizing 1.1 as "bleeding edge"
and is now their "latest feature release." The 1.2 alpha now carries the
instability warnings they used to have for 1.1.

Also we ARE leaving 1.0 up in parallel anyhow, so that'd be a stable(r)
fallback version for users. I dunno. Any suggestions from the jury?

If we do take Suns to 1.1 now, then we have to have a discussion about
whether to keep the Linux side the same and take it to 1.1 as well.

(deep sigh)

I wasn't going to be able to finish upgrading today anyway. Any
suggestions you can contribute by tomorrow would be appreciated.

- Todd
