As a consequence of Bill Brids' testing, how about we:
Tell people to shrink the NTFS partition AND move the maintenance
partition?
Then tell people to use option 2 which will JUST WORK, I expect.
As a consequence of Andrew Morton's info, how about we:
crowbar the install to use the e100 on the IBM laptops
consider grabbing early updates to kudzu or whatever to make the
crowbar more rigorous.
<low priority> look at what RH anaconda is gonna do to uses e100 by
default and consider adopting it early.
