Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't think there is a single "known good" version for
both Sun and Linux (not worrying about SGI). The only "known good" 1.3
plugin on Suns is the one we were running about 2 weeks ago before the
1.4.0_01 update- 1.3.0. I think we should set the Sun default back to that.
The full /afs path is:
/afs/athena/software/java_v1.3.0/distrib/sun4x_58/jre/plugin/sun4x_58/ns4
We don't have a Linux plugin for that release- and since the Linux
plugin was apparently broken until we made the change about 2 weeks ago, we
don't have a history of use for Linux. I think the best thing to do is
to pick the latest 1.3.1 release for Linux- that would be 1.3.1_02. The full
/afs path is:
/afs/athena/software/java_v1.3.1_02/distrib/i386_linux24/jre/plugin/i386_linux24/ns4
So, unless anyone objects, could you please set the Netscape 4.78 defaults as
above? Users who want other plugins should have the option to set it
with NPX_PLUGIN_PATH.
Thanks again,
Alex
