Odd error from Partition Magic

There may be some little thing that sfdisk is doing incorrectly.
After doing auto-partition with the IBM THinkpad, and rerunning
Partition Magic as a sanity check I get:

    The starting LBA value is 27972000 and the CHS value is 15482879
    The LBA and CHS values mus be equal.
    PowerQuest PartitionMagic has verified tha the LBA value is correct
    and can fix the CHS value.
    
    Would you like PowerQuest PartitionMagic to fix this error?
    
    
Saying Yes, seems fine.
Not noticing this seems fine.

We should probably figure out what this is so that we don't get horrible
lossage months from now when customer's disks fill up.
