An irritation with OpenMotif (which is not quite open source) is that we
aren't allowed to run it on Solaris and IRIX, so if there's any behavior
difference in the new code, we won't be easily able to make the other
platforms consistent.  I can import it and see how things go, though.

Lesstif's mwm is completely unacceptable (unless things have changed a
lot in the past couple of years, which I don't think they have); it's
not worth bringing up as an example.
