Questions for those who may know:
1) Is there any reason to think that there will reasonably soon be a
Netscape 6.x+1, so to speak, that doesn't suck as much as the Netscape
6.x that we are all hearing such awful things about?
B) Is there any reason to think that the current ugliness of 6.x is part
of some permanent new direction for Netscape, so therefored that what we
really need to be thinking about is how to move to something else, like
Mozilla?
Both of these come down to, "is the current unpleasant aroma coming from
Netscape 6.x just a transient problem, or a sign of permanent rot?"
Undoubtedly some of you are better placed to evaluate this question,
which seems central to our decisions.
