I don't think that dynroot, as it currently exists in OpenAFS, would
solve the problem of stat'ing /afs, since all cells in CellServDB are
mounted in the dynroot volume by default.  It's probably not too hard
to change this behavior (perhaps to something more closely resembling
an automounter), but it would be noticeably different from the way
things work right now.

(The right solution is to implement mountpoint fakestat in OpenAFS,
but I've been lame and still haven't done so..)
