More potentially interesting data: a client machine installed on
18.159 (behind E40 router) also succeeds. I think it's extremely likely
at this point that it matters what kind of router your behind, and my
suspicion is that clients on routers hung off of nw12-rtr-2 and
e19-rtr-2 will fail, but others will succeed.
I'd investigate this angle before assuming the fault lies solely
in cnboot itself.
