The basic installer work was actually done before the relevant release
(9.0.14, 13 August), but I got caught up in creeping (and unfinished)
featuritis which delayed the instller volume update.
I've punted back to the last checked-in version (which should do both 8.4
and 9.0 installs just fine) and am testing it now (to make sure that it
does both 8.4 and 9.0 installs just fine). I'll coordinate with Greg
with regard to actually putting it into production and changing the
control-default symlink.
