1. Build changes

For the 9.1 release, we need to change the build to work in a chrooted
environment. (Basically, ATHTOOLROOT doesn't work with shared
libraries on all platforms, and was causing a lot of trouble
independent of that, so we need to kill it.) This means we need to
create an OS image sufficiently complete to do builds in. Bob will
work on this for IRIX; Greg will probably handle the other two
platforms himself.

2. Vulnerabilities (AFS, telnetd)

9.0.14 is out to the field. 8.4.26 will go out today and to the
Athena cell Monday. For 8.3, we will put new binaries on the packs
and tell people about them, but will not do a patch release.

3. Linux issues

GX110s do not appear to have sound unless you reinstall them at 9.0
(which is not currently possible). We will fix this in a patch
release. There is some rumor that GX1s also don't have sound, but we
don't have confirmation.

One particular GX150 manages not to get an X configuration file from
Xconfigurator during the install, even though Xconfigurator works fine
if run by hand, and other identical (as far as we know) machines work
fine.

Andrew wants to do one more round of testing on the updated installer
volume, and then we can make 9.0 the default install (as well as
updating Linux machines with no hesiod info).

GX150s don't currently have USB support unless they are installed at
9.0, due to the same kudzu upgrade issue which screwed them on sound
support. Nobody has complained yet, though.

4. Managerial issues

The team will need to send monthly status reports (a la the AUI status
reports). Either Bill or Greg will do this.

The team will need to pick presentations for Jim's EC3 initiative
(customer communication training, basically), which will probably
be scheduled to happen at regular release team meetings.

In two weeks we will go over the project list for 9.1.
