1. Linux issues
Some machines did not update lilo.conf in the 9.0 update because of an
rpmupdate problem which will be a bit difficult to solve.
We may be able to make SMP machines work by putting the SMP kernel in
the "only update these RPMs if they're already installed" list. We
should get an SMP machine for the test cluster.
2. 9.0.14
We will target the dev cell today, the Athena cell Monday the 13th.
We will also build 8.4 and probably Solaris 8.3 patch releases for the
telnetd and rx problems.
3. Sun install
We have a problem report for the install on SUN4.2G disks; they wind
up without an AFS partition. [Garry fixed this after the meeting; we
still need to scan for affected machines.]
4. Solaris install/update coordination (after the meeting)
miki will get a few hours' warning between when Solaris patch releases
are finalized in the dev cell r/w volume and when they are released.
We will keep a text history of changes to the update miniroot so that
miki knows what has to be done when a new miniroot is made.
