   Developers should be aware of this, although the caveats are only
likely to affect people who are writing device drivers or software that
needs to read kernel structures.  End users only really need to know
that if something doesn't work, they should submit a bug report.

   I believe "Redhat 7.1" implies using a 2.4 kernel, but mentioning it
probably wouldn't hurt.
