This is exactly the same as the 7.0 layout. (Although presumably
larger.) I did as your option 2, overlaying the two binary CDs in
.../redhat-7.0, with a separate AFS volume for .../redhhat-7.0/RedHat/RPMS,
and leaving the organization otherwise as-shipped, complete with the
orphan contrib sources in redhat-7.0.
Total volume sizes are:
