   This is now done; erato is now running a zephyrd that will allow
users from old clients to get subscriptions, but syslogs when the
checksums mismatch; the code base to this is the same as the production
zephyr servers with syslogging added by me.  Because of the way
subscriptions are forwarded between the servers, having this on erato
should let us find the active users of affected clients.  

   So far, I've turned up 33 affected clients (since around 4pm this
afternoon), corresponding to 31 users of winzephyr, and 2 Athena 7.6
Vaxstations (sorry, Matt).
