The krb-apps@mit.edu mailing list serves the following MIT Information
Systems Charter Investigation Team (CIT):
This team will investigate how to provide improved, secured
(Kerberos/DES) access (telnet/tn3270, FTP) via MITnet to VM, VMS,
Athena dialup, and other UNIX server systems from Macintosh, PC and
UNIX workstations.
The team will scope out the issues involved, identify requirements,
potential solutions, costs, priorities, and recommendations for follow
on work.
After the CIT work is completed, the mailing list can be used for
continuing discussion of the same issues.
