1. Mail client

We'll use pine. More people are familiar with it, it has more
penetration, it appears to have a less steep learning curve (although
Oliver points out that the learning curve for both pine and mutt is
probably steep for someone familiar with things like Exchange and
Eudora).

Oliver wants consultant training in whatever we choose.

2. AUI stuff

panel and sawfish are 90% integrated. Remaining panel issues center
around:

	* Menus - we need to make /usr/athena/share/gnome/apps a
	  symlink into /afs/athena.mit.edu/system/config [or repoint
the programs part of the main menu to somewhere else which
is a symlink into AFS]. We need to decide what those menus
	  are going to be.

It was pointed out that users largely aren't finding the
menus, and that it might help to put a text tag under the
	  menu icon.

	* Icons - We need better icons for the launchers, logout
button, etc.. There is much confusion as to how much work
PSB has done so far and where the results of said work might
be. Todd will try to figure out what's going on, and the
AUI meeting tomorrow might shed light on things.

	* dash fallback options and some other stuff.

Greg is working on nautilus and its many dependencies.

3. Linux updates and Hesiod

A roundabout discussion led to the conclusion that Linux machines
should have default cluster information for updates. We can keep
track of who's running our release through boot-time messages. We
will still encourage people to register for Hesiod information.
