Sorry I was unable to attend - I was, in fact, busy dealing with some
promised Netscape work.

Netscape 6 is, indeed, still only available as a Sun package, and this is
the way it will be from now on, apparently: They are a "Netscape Partner"
(read: Netscape doesn't want to maintain or support that software
themselves).

But that's not the issue. I can wrangle the Sun package to fit our needs;
I've already done it several times. The question is WHEN I'll need to do
it. Given the general disdain I've gotten from everyone who's used
Netscape 6, any platform, it may be a while before we upgrade. Remember
there has been an official statement to the MIT community that we don't
feel Netscape 6 is ready for prime time and that we neither support nor
recommend its use.
