Hello folks, can someone on release-team please answer this and cc me?
I'm inclined to want to help people, but don't want to start making
random ATHENA_SYS links in lockers at the request of individual users unless
it's a reasonable thing to do and the direction we will be heading in
anyway.

If you feel this is reasonable and say yes, I'll put in the requested links.

                                           Alex

Subject: Maple+Matlab over AFS on Linux kernel 2.4

I'm trying to get AFS working to run Maple and Matlab on my Linux computer
(running kernel 2.4). I have OpenAFS 1.0.1 compiled and running, the only
problem is that @sys maps to i386_linux24 instead of i386_linux22. Would it
be possible to add symlinks from i386_linux24 to i386_linux22 in the
/afs/athena/software/matlab_v5.3.1/arch/ and /afs/athena/software/maple_v6.0/ar
ch/ directories?

Thank you,
Colin Cross
