Subject: FYI: machines in "early" clusters
Cc: op@MIT.EDU
Here's a status report on the machines in the "early" clusters, based on
what '/afs/net/tools/@sys/hostcheck' reports for DECstaions and Suns, and
on what 'zstat' reports for the RS/6000s. Basically, almost all of the
machines in these clusters have been updated.
Cluster Status
----------- --------------------------------------------
early-dmu 54 (of 60) have updated to 7.7I
early-rsaix 18 (of 21) have updated to 7.7H (zhm 1.54)
early-sun4 31 (of 34) have updated to 7.7N
Note: Here are the workstations in the W20 cluster that are running
the early release. These need to be marked as such in the
cluster:
TEST-5000 early-dmu
W20-575-72 early-dmu
W20-575-2 early-rsaix
W20-575-98 early-rsaix
W20-575-1 early-sun4
These are the workstations in the 37 cluster that are NOT running
the early release. All others in the 37 cluster need an indication
that they are running the early release:
M37-312-5 public-dmu
M37-318-1 public-dmu
M37-318-11 public-rsaix
M37-312-30 public-sun4
When I visited the 37 cluster yesterday afternoon, there was no
indication anywhere about the early release, reporting bugs, etc.
Anne
Carlton and I have posted all the required signs at each workstation
pertaining to the above info. and locations.
