Lou askend me to take a look at w20-575-40 because it was complaining
that it needed an fsck. I fsck'd the / partition and found a mail
message (qf and df files) that fsck wanted permission to re-link in
/lost+found. Once that was dealt with an automatic fsck took care of
a couple of other small problems. I brought the machien back up and
forced the lost message out.

There are several interesting point that this raises:

This is yet another case of an fsck being needed on / rather that the
cache partition.

Lou and I have both noticed that this machien seems to crash more
often than the average linux box. There may be a hardware problem
causing these crashhes thus making the machine more vulnerable to
needing an fsck. Hotline, you might want to keep an eye on this.

Teh machine was running 8.4.14, but athena-verify wasn't more verbose
than it used to be. Greg, you might want to look into this.

When the machine booted the boot record in wtmp had a really weird
timestamp because the hardware clock was wrong. Perhaps weh should
run clock --systohc at some point.
