Due to the fact that my head wasn't screwed on right last weekend, the
Suns in the "beta" cluster are seeing the new release ahead of schedule.
Workstations in this cluster with AUTOUPDATE=true updated to 7.7L during
the day, so in effect the beta test is already underway for these Suns.
(If your workstation hasn't updated yet, please wait until next week, the
"official" start, to update.) If you notice unusual problems that seem to
be due to the 7.7L release, please send mail to 'testers@mit.edu'.
I'm very sorry to have let this pack get out before its scheduled time.
