i was at the dell support site to look up something for my laptop and
decided to check on the GX110 while there. according the the dell on-line
service manual the integrated NIC on the optiplex GX110 is:
3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-TX Compatible)
