Well, /usr/local/andrew is hard coded at the bottom level in two places:
	LD_LIBRARY_PATH
	ANDREWDIR

Knowing the source as I do, I've confirmed that running emacs over
	bin/runnap
	lib/atk/libbasics.so
to change the hard-coded string works.

I'm not sure which grossness I prefer:
Creating a shadow /usr/andrew/bin directory with perl scripts to set
ANDREWDIR and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Running with two binary files that have been edited with Emacs, and
taking on the faith of my excruciating experience with Andrew that I've
got the only two places where the hard-coded defaults needed to be
changed.

I suspect Greg will prefer the former. Currently I prefer tha latter.
