Here is a list of orphaned release projects, since Bill asked:
* That whole aui thing.
* Replace track and synctree with a free and well-written tool
which can do both.
* Create a scheme for merging local and Athena changes to
config files.
* Make Athena workstations secure against local root
compromise. This means:
- Audit all the setuid code in the Athena tree.
- Stop trusting AFS for setuid bits.
* I'm told we have a library called libacl in a few places in
the source tree. Make a single version of it which works.
* Make all workstations have an /etc/athena/access file; stop
supporting /etc/nocreate and /etc/noremote.
