Hi. Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier; I didn't realize Thomas
was out of town. The problem isn't so much with the instructions as
with the floppy device permissions on our Linux machines.
For now, you can make floppies on Linux boxes by becoming root
(running "su") before running the format and cat commands.
