This machine was reinstalled last night using the install media in the
bootkit locker. After being surprised by the experience with su above,
I verified that /etc/shadow on the machine did, in fact, contain an
empty string for root's password.
release-team: If this isn't fixed in time for Tuesday, do we consider
this a show stopper?
