I noticed earlier this evening that an Athena 8.3.23 machine
doesn't have all of the Solaris patches in Sun's Solaris 2.6 Y2K
compliance patch cluster applied to it. The ones we're missing are:
105210-25 libc and watchmalloc patch
105621-19 libssm and cron patch
105566-07 CDE Calendar Manager patch
107492-01 runacct patch
107988-01 SPARCompiler Binary Compatibility Libraries
108358-01 SDE 1.0: sdtperfmeter patch
Of these, only the first two seem like they might be potentially
interesting. I haven't investigated what specific bugs these patches
fix (and getting information from Sunsolve is proving to be painful from
behind my ppp link) but I was wondering if it was worth giving thought
to whether any of these patches need to appear in an 8.3 patch release
at any point.
