1. We discussed mtools. Solaris has some ability to deal with the ZIP
drives using built-in capabilities, but would require development of scripts
to emulate the mtools suite. for Athena 8.3 we will use mtools. We will
look into the other options later.

4. IDE zip drives may be supported under solaris 7. There is an
inexpensive SCSI interface available for ultra's -- we are going to get one
and verify operation. Then we'll put it on the recommended hardware pages.

2. Draft documentation is available. There are some "holes" for various
people to fill in.

3. We discussed putting the software license wrapper (SLW) in the release.
This would provide regular rebuilding, but does not ensure maintenance. We
tabled the issue for now, and expect post 8.3 to reconsider a plan for
petting and feeding the package.

5. Going into Beta has been delayed by last-minute changes. We expect to
go into it soon.

8. AFS version: solaris no change 3.4 n (not sure of exact letter); Irix
Base config ports (not 3.4).

9. Solaris 2.7 in IAP? we discussed the possibility of going to solaris 7
during IAP. We do not expect to do this, due to the additional overhead.
There do not appear to be any 3rd party packages that require solaris 7.
This may cause us to jump a version next year.
