Status report #1, 300 MHz O2 CPU testing.
Lou Isgur installed the new CPU with no problems. (It's just like the
200 MHz upgrade procedures we used.)
Bob Basch booted vanilla IRIX 6.5 and confirmed that it worked.
Bob Basch installed Athena 8.3 using our procedures and that worked.
Basic tests like 'ls' confirm that the system is basically working.
----
We plan to do more extensive testing over time to confirm there's
nothing non-obvious wrong. (Maybe I'll try and read my mail on it since
that turned up the PREVIOUS CPU chip bug.)
