Hi! Thanks for the info, Chad, and for fixing all the sipb stuff. I
still have a few questions, though.

A lot of people weren't using dvips-style before. Buried in our long
dvips answer it says:
Old style New style Font family
==================================================
timrom times Times
newcen ncs New Century Schoolbook
avantgarde Avant-Garde
bookman Bookman
palatino new-pal * Palatino
I'll be copying it to a more prominent location in the stock answers.
Is that something that should be included in the Release Notes also?

That fixes TEXFONTS too? I dug through the last 100 transactions in
testers and only found one mention of TEXFONTS, in a message from Jake
Wetzel [2673]. He solved his problem by removing the TEXINPUTS and
TEXFONTS variables entirely. Is that the general solution? Will
sticking a : at the end of it fix it too?
Thanks,
Carla
