Another package which is a candidate to be jettisoned from the IRIX 6.5
release is gnat, the gnu ada translator. (This is distinct from the
set of gnu programs I listed the other day, which we already agreed
not to install). It looks like installing gnat will add 7-10 minutes
to the install time.
I mentioned this to Greg a few days ago, and he indicated that we
should probably skip it, given that there is not much ada use here.
Anyone else have an opinion here about whether to install gnat?
We could wait for someone to ask for it, at the risk of making a
bit more work for ourselves later on...
