I'll order a SCSI card so that it will be here when we have a chance to
begin testing.

Which one should I order?
The choices are:

"SunSwift PCI 1.0" X1032A (ultra-wide SCSI, 10/100 Ethernet)
Sun: X1032A 995.00 A Opt int PCI 10/100BaseT NIC
Our cost: ~$597

single-ended, dual channel Ultra SCSI card
Sun: X6540A 750.00 A Opt int PCI UltraSCSI SE Card
Our cost: $450

Adaptec 2940UW/OF
NECX: 123423
Our cost: $308.40 + $8.95 s&h

I propose to order the Adaptec. (Dennis Aylward tells me that's what
Sun uses inside the Ultra 450.

The X6540, though it has a Sun part number, apparently is a Third party
card as well.

My rationale for proposing to buy the Adaptec is: Sun says it works,
and uses it internally. It is the least expensive card. Let's take
advantage of the PC nature of the Ultra, and offer the LOW cost option
as the Tested, Supported, SCSI support for the Ultra-5 and Ultra-10.
