We make no explicit settings for the screensaver, so we get the
hard-coded default.

With this as a starting off point, I looked at the man page for Xserver,
and discovered that the "-v" startup option which disables the video
blank.

Since it would require modifying 10,000 login files to run xset -s
noblank, the -v option is much more reasonable for our environment.

Angelo:

Does the -v option satisfy the enhancement request pending? For our
needs, an "X" wandering across the screen instead of a blank screen is
just fine!

Release-Team:

How important is this feature? Should we schedule adding "-v" to the X
startup default for a subsequent roll out of Athena 8.2?
