1. We plan to go to early on Wednesday night. Current
problems include Irix 6.2 AFS corruption; re-activate
problem with console; Nanny/xdm going to a blank screen and
hanging; and makeserv hanging.

2. User release notes. It turns out the preparation of
these has been delayed. Greg Hudson will work with Heather
to produce a version. We grabbed Joe Welch passing in the
hall and asked if cluster would be able to pass out the
notes where the early machines are. He thinks this would
be possible, if not Wednesday night then Thursday morning.

Some of the key changes include Kerberos 5, Solaris 2.6,
irix 6.2 and 6.3, Perl 5.

3. KNFS isn't quite ready. We do not want to hold up
early for it, so we will warn potential users that they may
not want to take the early release. Dan will work with
Miki to get this ready as soon as possible.

4. Operations would like a production quality miniroot for
the Ultra 10. Right now, it is possible to install the
Ultra from Sunburn but we don't feel this is generally
useful.

5. Robert will modify the SGI installer to deal with 32 MB
systems. Basically, fail on normal installs, warn on
custom installs.

6. The vos release problem has been cleared. It is a
longtime problem.

7. Andrew still has a problem. It appears likely that an
LD setting script may take care of the difficulty.
