1. Because the end of crunch is near, we will plan for general release of
Bind for 8.1 after end of crunch. Probably go into the
athena cell about 5/24, then general.
if we have trouble before that, network can setup a filter and we'll
scramble to get the patch out sooner.
will probably use 4.9.6 ops
2. K5 KDC delayed to 6/11
so will add k4 cruft until 8.3. This means we may move beta up.
3. Patches for solaris--f_l? Db?
4. Perl4-5
default change to 5 okay
make sure transition publicized and alternatives well-known and working
5. Telnet -x
we'll think about possibility of mkserv
right now edit inetd.conf (and re-edit after updates)
6. IRIX 6.3 8.1 ready for general release
7. User quotas changing? Probably, but Ops will let us know in July.
