I believe that changing the root password simply entails:
* Changing the passwd files in
/afs/athena.mit.edu/system/config (and
/afs/sipb.mit.edu/system/config, but that's not our
problem).
* Editing the tellme script.
We'd probably want to update the fallback files for the release, but
that's not terribly important. (Especially because I'm not sure the
fallback files do anything at this point, but that's a side issue.)
