1. /var/spool and /usr/spool in discuss
	- the basic "problem" here is that users may get a confusing
message when adding an existing meeting (i.e., due to the change in
path, the message will indicate that a meeting with that name already
exists and offer to delete it--either yes or no will do the right
thing)

Decision: Go ahead. We don't think the problem will be large enough
to bother us.

2. sendmail.cf mail masquerading changes--dan and greg will discuss
offline. There may be a need to document and publicize various ways
of using mail--and what needs to be done to get sendmail.cf "right" in
those usages.

3. local authorization tool--instead of a tool, greg will look at
doing an "Athena Authorization File" with the new login system dealing
with the existing method of adding a local user or users in the file.

4. Mime support--it's out. We think lcs should notify cfyi and
sipb-office (with notation that we are looking for testers, they
should not distribute this, and the expectation that they will
anyway). [Larry? this means send your note to them, too]

add mime and poke around, or look at http://web.mit.edu/mime/htdocs/

5. Bill has stories about SGI. Key point is that Grant Bassett will
be acting as our tech liaison in the near future, starting with trying
to understand why our O2s seem to be failure-prone.

6. We expect to have an O2 8.1 version supportable (i.e., general
release state) in 3-4 weeks. Some steps on the way (not in order):
	a. set up moira information
	b. get locker-maintainers to clean up lockers
	c. check that .desktop stuff works right
	d. point install at athena, not dev
	e. put copies of packs in athena

7. IRIX 6.5 Beta--we're going to check to see if they have
documentation on what changed from 6.2/6.3 to 6.5. However, we should
probably file bug reports on anything in 6.2/6.3 that has caused us
trouble anyway, and let SGI tell us that they redid that in 6.5.

Bill asked about having Thomas push this, and we said that makes sense.

8. I won't be here next week, but we'll go ahead and have a meeting
focusing on the alpha release.

9. Greg passed out a preliminary set of system release notes--looks
good!
